Vintage, almost antique, silver soldered, Hollywood Hotel, teapot by Reed and Barton. The Hollywood Hotel opened in 1902 on Hollywood Blvd. It hosted many early Hollywood silent movie and silver screen stars and executives like Louis B. Mayer, Harry Warner, Ethel Barrymore, Norma Shearer and Rudolph Valentino, to name a few. This famous hotel is no longer. Here is your chance to own an amazing and rare piece of history.
Marks: Reed and Barton Silver Soldered 2300 1 P Hollywood Hotels 433 and at the very top the date mark for 1929
Measurements: approx 5 1/2" tall x 6" wide handle to spout
This teapot is in decent vintage for it's age and use. Show some signs of age and use such as light surface scratches and light wear (on the handle and a bit on the side. Inside is either stained or worn at the bottom. No obvious damage that I can see.
