Gorgeous, silver plate and glass, covered dish/ casserole Towle Mfg Co. This is a large oval shape with a lovely design around the rim and finial. A lovely piece for your dinner party, special event or holidays.
Measurements: approx diameter 16" long x 11" wide x 6 1/2" tall. Glass dish measures 13.5 by 9.5 inches

This covered dish is in good condition for it's age and use. Still shiny and brilliant. Does show some signs such as surface spots on the lid (can only be seen in certain light) and 3 small spots at the bottom of the silverplate bowl. These items look MUCH better in person as the camera seems to enhance flaws. There seems to be a very tiny chip near the rim of the glass dish, but it must be old as it is worn smooth and some light scratches. No other obvious damage.
