Gorgeous, antique, brass, peacock style, fireplace screen with Phoenixes. This fireplace screen is made of bronze/ brass. It features intricate detailing of filigree cut-out on the fans Phoenix birds facing each other at the top, urn style finial and solid latches to lock the screen shut when not in use. The fan blades are more solid than the average fireplace screen. This screen has a gorgeous patina and some beautiful verdigris. I chose not to polish it for that reason. This would make an exquisite addition to your fireplace. Please keep reading all of the description.
Measurements: approx 26" tall and 7" wide when closed. 38" wide when opened. *May be disassembled for ease of shipping

This fireplace screen is in beautiful antique condition. I didn't polish the screen because it has a gorgeous patina, which most people desire. It wears its age beautifully. If you prefer a shinier finish, this can easily be polished. This is an antique item so may need some lubrication for ease of opening and closing. No obvious damage.
