Vintage (almost antique), silver soldered, Encino Country Club, teapot circa 1923. The Encino Country Club was built in the early 1920's. It fell into financial ruin in the early 1930's and was converted to a military academy known as Raenford Academy or the Raenford School for Boys. This rare piece is in great condition--better in person than the pictures (too many shadows and reflections). Here is your chance to own a piece of history.
Marks:The bottom reads GMCO EP 04001 and a shovel dating the piece to 1923 16oz
Measurements: approx 7 1/4" tall x 7" handle to spout.
This teapot is in great vintage condition for its age and use. Show some signs of age and use such as light surface scratches and possible polish residue. The inside is lightly stained, but I didn't attempt to clean the inside so will possibly come out. No obvious damage that I can see.
