Antique, Hotel St. Francis, silver soldered, tea set, personal sized circa 1910s. This is from the Hotel St. Francis, San Francisco. The set includes coffee pot, teapot, creamer and open sugar. Each piece has the Hotel St. Francis crest on one side. Gorgeous pieces of history for display and use.
Measurements: approx coffee pot 7 1/2" tall x 7" handle to spout, teapot 7 1/4" x 6 1/2" handle to spout, creamer 4 1/4" tall x 4 3/4" handle to spout, sugar bowl 2 1/2" tall x 5" wide
Marks: 3 pieces made by Gorham and one from Reed and Barton--all match. Sugar bowl: St Francis GMCO 04868 6 oz and an icepick denoting 1918 date. Reed Barton Silver Soldered 080-H 8oz St. Francis. Teapot: GMCO EP 03330 10 oz and a saber denoting 1917 date. Other pot states the same except has a shamrock denoting date of 1913
The set is in good antique condition. May have expected signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, polish residue, possible tarnish and marks that are inherent to silver soldered items. Some staining on the inside. No obvious damage that I can see.
