Rare, silver soldered, teapot from Barming Heath Hospital, Kent County, England circa 1927. Barming was a psychiatric hospital that opened in 1833 and closed in 1994. This piece was made by Gladwin out of Sheffield, England. It features an Art Deco style finial and BH on one side of the pot. This is a wonderful piece of history.

Marks: 21 Gladwin Ltd Sheffield 23737 C REGD 727703 PatentNo 411357 1 Pint

Measurements: approx 5" tall x 8 1/2" wide handle to spout.

This teapot is in fair condition. May have expected signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, tiny dings, polish residue. Shows very slight wear to the silver in areas. Inside has some staining/ corrosion to the bottom. Still very shiny though.
