Vintage, Art Deco, brass trophy on bakelite base circa 1940. On the trophy is engraved "C.S.C. Grand Champion Student Showing Little International 1940 Presented to Virgil N. Ottinger". Little International was started around 1922, where they focused on the showmanship side of the competition. The purpose was to promote animal husbandry and agriculture. This particular trophy was from the Colorado Springs sector and awarded to Virgil N. Ottinger in 1940. A wonderful trophy for display.
Measurements: approx 15" Tall, 7 1/82" wide handle to handle.

The trophy is in decent vintage condition. The brass part of the trophy has tarnish and patina. I chose not to polish it in case the new owner prefers it this way. It can polish up easily if the new owner so chooses. The base is intact, but there is a crack on the side that has been repaired and seems to be holding well. No other obvious damage.
